Note: For sites added after August 2020, all guides will have access to all students, so you should not need to take these steps. If you would like to have this feature for a site added prior to August 2020, please reach out to support@booknooklearning.com. For most volunteer programs, you will need to give each volunteer to their specific student(s) using the directions below. If you would like to delete a guide that is no longer participating in the program, follow the directions found here.
To remove student access for guides when the guide is no longer working with that student, follow the directions below. Once this is complete, that guide will no longer see the student in BookNook and cannot complete sessions.

Step 1: Select "Guides" from the left hand column
Step 2: On this page, you will see all of the guides for your site. Click on the name of the guide for whom you would like to remove student access
Step 3: Click on "Access" located in the top right corner
Step 5: On this page, you will see switches that say "Yes" for students the guide has access to and "No" for students they do not. For any students that you would like to remove access, click the switch to change it to "No." If a student does not appear on the page, they may be located on a second page depending on total population. Students are automatically sorted alphabetically by last name.
To return to the main page, click the BookNook Icon on the top right.
